The Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club, located in the eastern suburbs of Auckland, is one of New Zealand’s few exclusively private clubs.
Founded in 1894, today’s 27-hole layout, unites two historic Auckland courses, Royal Auckland (1894) and The Grange (1924).
The course featuring three 9-hole circuits known for their challenging layouts, well-manicured fairways, and scenic beauty was designed by Chris Cochran of Nicklaus Design,
In 2011 the club was granted the “Royal” designation by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A rare honour, the “Royal” status signifies the club’s historical significance and the quality of its golf courses.
